WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - ARIZONA STATE senior forward Carrick Felix has been named the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 26- Dec. 2, the Conference announced Monday.
The Goodyear, Ariz., native had the first double-double of his career against Sacramento State on Dec. 1, where he had 12 boards and 21 points. Felix had career highs in both rebounds and assists (five) in the game. In addition, he had five assists and two steals in the 90-70 win.
The senior led the team with 21 points in the previous game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 28, where the Sun Devils won, 67-54. He tallied six rebounds, four assists and two steals in addition to his scoring. Felix now has eight 20-point games in his career and is averaging 20.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in the past four games.
This is Felix’s first career Pac-12 Player of the Week honor and the 31st all-time selection for Arizona State.
The Sun Devils play host to Hartford on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. MT and Cal State Northridge on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 12 p.m. MT, both games are televised live on the Pac-12 Networks.
