Burbridge Ranks 7th Nationally In NCAA With 5.66 Kills Per Game

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Amanda Burbridge, fresh off a National Player of the Week performance, is currently ranked seventh nationally in the NCAA with 5.66 kills per game.

Burbridge averaged 8.56 kills per game last weekend to move from 10th on the list to her current spot of seventh. The highest an ASU player has ever been ranked was sixth by current assistant coach Christine Garner at the conclusion of the 1993 season. Garner's average that year was 4.71.

Burbridge is also ranked 20th in digs per game (4.12) and freshman setter Cheryl Anglin (Queen Creek) is ranked 20th with 13.54 assists per game.
