Husky Women Golfers in 11th Place at Hawaii

Oahu, HI - The Washington women's golf team is in 11th place after the first round of the Rainbow Wahine Classic. The Huskies opened play with a 25-over par 315 at the Kapolei Golf Course in Oahu, Hawaii. UCLA leads the 15-team tournament with a 10-over par 298 on the par 72, 5,900 yard course.
The Huskies were led by Kelli Kamimura, who fired a three-over 75 to finish in a tie for seventh place, just two shots back of leader Saki Vechi from UCLA, who carded a one-over 73. Husky Elisha Au is also in contention after finishing in 21st with a five-over 77.
