Men's Soccer Player of the Week (10/31/00)

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Stanford midfielder Scott Leber has been named the Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for October 24-30, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Leber, a senior from Tucson, Ariz., tallied his third multi-goal game of the season, scoring twice in a 3-0 victory over Cal. He notched his second game-winner of the year by breaking a scoreless tie at the 11:55 mark, then just three minutes into the second half, gave the Cardinal a 2-0 lead with a header off a corner kick.
Leber now has a team-best and career-high 11 goals on the season, ranking him second in the Conference in total goals. He also ranks in the top five in the Conference in shots (second), points (second), shots per game (second), points per game (third) and goals per game (third).
This is the first weekly honor for Leber and Stanford's second Player of the Week honor all-time.
