Women's Soccer Player of the Week (11/7/00)

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- USC senior midfielder/forward Isabelle Harvey has been named the Pac-10 Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Oct. 31-Nov. 6, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Harvey, from Cap-Rouge, Quebec, recorded the game-winning goal in both matches last weekend in the Trojans' 3-1 win at Arizona and 1-0 overtime win at Arizona State. Harvey recorded a goal and an assist against the Wildcats, including her goal on a penalty kick. On Sunday, Harvey scored with one second remaining in the first overtime period at Arizona State. She now has 22 career game-winning goals and is the school's career leader in goals (48), assists (39) and points (135).
With the wins over Arizona and Arizona State, the Trojans finished their season at 13-5-2, 5-3-1. USC earned its third straight NCAA Tournament berth and will host San Diego in the first round.
This is Harvey's third career Pac-10 Player of the Week honor and USCs 12th Player of the Week honor all-time.
