Women's Basketball Changes Saturday's Season Opener to 2 p.m.

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State women's basketball team has changed the time of its season opener vs. Texas-San Antonio on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Wells Fargo Arena to 2 p.m. from its original start time of 7 p.m.

The Sun Devils will open the regular season at home with back-to-back games at Wells Fargo Arena, starting on Saturday with Texas-San Antonio and taking on South Florida at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19. The team then heads to the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu Nov. 24-26 where they will take on NCAA Tournament qualifier Stephen F. Austin in the first round.

Coming off their first postseason appearance in eight years and the team's most wins since 1992-93, the Sun Devils return eight letterwinners and two starters and add a number of talented newcomers including two Division I redshirts, a junior college transfer and three high-school standouts.
