Ryan Cesca Named Pac-10 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week

Corvallis, Ore. - Oregon State sophomore placekicker Ryan Cesca has been selected this week's Pacific-10 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, it was announced Monday by the Conference. The honor was the second in four weeks for Cesca.
Cesca, from Manhatten Beach, Cal., connected on all four of his field goal attempts in the Beavers' 33-9 victory at Arizona last Saturday. He was also perfect on three extra point attempts, and now is a perfect 78-for-78 for his collegiate career. Cesca enters this week's action as the conference leader for field goal percentage (.867), and is the co-leader for made field goals (13), and point after touchdown percentage (1000).
Oregon State players have been honored by the conference a total of five times this season
University of Washington tailback Rich Alexis was named the Pac-10's Offensive Player of the Week, and Stanford linebacker Coy Wire was the Defensive Player of the Week.
