Jimmy Lee Named Golf World Player Of The Week

TRUMBULL, Conn. - Stanford senior golfer Jimmy Lee (Coral Springs, FL) was named Golf World's Player of the Week in the Nov. 17 issue.

Lee, who is Stanford's team captain, won the individual title at The Prestige last week by draining a 50-foot eagle putt on the second playoff hole for his first ever championship. He carded a six-under 210 at the Desert Willow Golf Course in Palm Desert, CA. Lee posted a 69 followed by a 68 in the first two rounds of play.

In the Fresno Classic, Lee helped the Cardinal to its first team title of the year with a seventh-place individual finish, recording a two-under 214 total.
