Fusaro Wins Second Event Of Trojan Diving Invite

LOS ANGELES - USC freshman Nicci Fusaro won her second event of the 2000 Trojan Diving Invitational, taking the 3-meter competition on Friday (Nov. 17) at the USC McDonald's Swim Stadium.

Fusaro finished first with 493.70 points, just ahead of Stanford's McKenze Murphy (492.15). USC junior Lisa Moshy was 19th (182.00) and freshman Erin McKeon was 22nd (171.00).

On the men's side, Omar Ojeda of Arizona won his second event of the meet, taking the 1-meter with 376.50, well ahead of BYU's Aaron Russell (298.85). USC's Adam Rokoff was 16th (205.50) and teammate James Wells was 17th (199.55). Freshman Ray Vincent withdrew from the rest of the competition because of an ear infection.
