The Cardinal improves to 17-11, 10-8 in league play overall while the Beavers fall to 16-14 overall, 6-12 in the Pac-10.
Game one was dominated by Stanford. The Cardinal took the early lead and never looked back winning 15-5. Logan Tom notched eight kills on nine attempts while Ashley Ivy had four digs. Stanford hit .583 for the game.
Game two was close with the two teams tying at 6-6 and 7-7 before Stanford would take a lead they would not relinquish. The Cardinal closed out the game, 15-9. Tara Conrad tallied nine kills to bring her two game total to 15 while Ivy added seven digs to bring her total to 11.
Stanford took control early in game three and never looked back. They would win the game, 15-3, and the match, 3-0, on a service ace by Tom. The Cardinal had eight blocks in game three while hitting at a .296 clip. Oregon State was held to a -.036.
The Cardinal hit a season high .416 for the match.
Ashley Ivy notched a match high 12 digs on the night while adding three blocks. Freshman middle blocker Jennifer Harvey had a match high five blocks for the Cardinal. Three Stanford players ended the night in double figures in kills (Tom, Conrad and Ivy). Tom added three service aces on the night.
For Oregon State, Michelle Solomon had nine kills followed by Angie Shirley's eight kills. K. C Fredric had a team high seven digs.
Stanford closes out the regular season on Tuesday, November 21 against Santa Clara in Maples Pavilion at 7 p.m.
