Oregon State Falls Stanford In Wrestling

Stanford (2-2 overall duals, 0-2 Pac-10) traveled to Oregon for a three-day Thanksgiving weekend with four opponents. In today's meet, Stanford fell to Oregon State (1-0 overall duals, 1-0 Pac-10) 39-3 in the Beavers' home opener at Gill Coliseum.
Sophomore Isaiah Camp (1-5 overall, 1-3 duals) won his first contest of the season with a decision over Paul Barron in the 149 pound division. Oregon State is ranked 19th in the Intermat poll and 24th in the Wrestling USA Preseason poll and has five starters ranked in the top-20 by Amateur Wrestling News.
The Cardinal closes out its road trip with a meet against the Oregon Ducks on Sun., Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. The Cardinal return home for the week, but head to Nevada for the Las Vegas Invitational next weekend on Fri., Dec. 1 and Sat., Dec. 2.
