OSU Schedules Winter Baseball Camps

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State will be holding three winter baseball camps in December for players age 8-18. All three camps will be held in McAlexander Fieldhouse on the OSU campus, with instruction from OSU's coaching staff and coaches from junior colleges and high schools.

The All-Skills Day Camp will be held Dec. 18-20 from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. each day. The camp will feature instruction in hitting, fielding, throwing, baserunning, pitching and catching, campers will be grouped according to age and skill levels.

Cost for the All-Skills Day Camp will be $60, and check-in will be Dec. 18 at 8:30 a.m. at McAlexander Fieldhouse. Campers should bring their own glove, cap, batting gloves, baseball shoes and sneakers, catchers should bring their own gear, if possible.

The Hitting Camp will be held Dec. 26 from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m., covering all aspects of being a productive hitter. Cost for the Hitting Camp is $70 and check-in will be Dec. 26 at 8:30 a.m. at McAlexander Fieldhouse. Players should bring their own bat, if possible, along with their own batting gloves and hat.

The Pitching and Catching Camp will be held Dec. 27 from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., covering all aspects of pitching and catching with an emphasis on giving each camper the ability to continue developing their skills once they leave camp. Cost for the Pitching and Catching Camp is $70 and check-in will be Dec. 27 at 8:30 a.m. at McAlexander Fieldhouse. Players should bring their own own glove, hat, tennis shoes and baseball shoes, catchers should bring their own gear, if possible.
