ASU Wrestling Fourth After First Two Rounds at Las Vegas Invitational

PRIMM, Nev. - The 10th-ranked Arizona State wrestling squad is tied for fourth-place with defending Pac-10 champion Boise State after two rounds at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational in Primm, Nev. Friday.
The Sun Devils have four wrestlers in the championship bracket and five in the consolation bracket heading into quarterfinals. Junior David Douglas (133), sophomore Eric Larkin (141), sophomore Rocky Smart (157) and senior Steve Blackford (165) all won their first and second round matches to advance to the quarterfinal rounds.
In team scoring, ASU is just behind first-place Illinois (42.5 points), second-place Oregon State (40.5), and third-place Nebraska (38.5). The Sun Devils and Broncos are locked at 36 points each.
Tournament action continues all day tomorrow, with final rounds scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
