The Arizona State football team (6-5, 3-5 in Pac-10) will play BIG EAST Conference member Boston College (6-5, 3-4) in the Jeep Aloha Bowl on Christmas Day at 10:30 a.m. Hawaiian Time (1:30 p.m. MST). The game will be televised by ABC and is held at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.
Arizona State is 10-7-1 overall in bowl games, losing last year 23-3 to Wake Forest in the Aloha Bowl on Dec. 25 in its only other appearance in the bowl. The Aloha will mark ASU's fourth bowl game in the past five years and it will be the first meeting between the Sun Devils and Eagles.
'We are excited to return to Hawaii because the community treated us very well last year,' said ASU head coach Bruce Snyder. 'The community has great pride in the game and we also look forward to competing against a solid program from a great conference.'
The Sun Devil ticket office will have information beginning Monday, Dec. 4. The phone number is 480-965-2381.
