Archuleta And Heap Earn Walter Camp All-America Honors

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Senior linebacker Adam Archuleta and junior tight end Todd Heap earned second-team All-America accoldes by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, announced Wednesday by Bernard Pellegrino, Walter Camp president.
The players were selected as a result of balloting by Division I-A coaches and sports information directors.
Archuleta, the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year and first-team selection, finished the regular season as the conference leader in tackles with 119.
Heap, Arizona State's all-time leader in receptions for a tight end, was one of three finalist for the inaugural John Mackey Award which goes to the top tight end in college football. Heap was also a first-team All-Pac-10 choice.
