Softball Field Garners 2000 NFCA/Turface Maintenance Field of the Year Award

COLUMBIA, MO--Arizona State University is the college/university winner in the NFCA/Turface Grounds Crew Field Maintenance Field award for the 2000 season.
Arizona State's Alberta B. Farrington Stadium is a 1,500 seat facility that was dedicated in April, 2000. Among the new stadium's many features are home and away locker rooms, offices, concession stands, a trainers room, a team shop and a team room.
Touted as one of the best playing surfaces in the nation, the facility has already received two major awards for design and excellence in architecture, in addition tothe NFCA/Turface Grounds Crew Field Maintenance Award.
Award winners were chosen by a panel of independent judges made up of grounds maintenance professionals selected by the NFCA and Turface.
