USC put together a pair of three-game sweeps over Florida and Penn State to advance to the NCAA Final Four. . . It marks the 26th time a Pac-10 team has reached the Final Four. . . The Pac-10 has had considerable success during the NCAA Championships. Eight of the 19 NCAA titles awarded, including six of the last 10, have been claimed by a Pac-10 institution. The Pac-10 owns a mark of 175-102 (.632) in the postseason (38 matches pitted Pac-10 teams going head-to-head). The Pac-10 has sent half its teams to NCAA Tournament play in 16 of 20 championships.

USC (18th NCAA Tournament appearance) - The Trojans reach the Final Four for the fourth time in school history, winning the NCAA title in 1981, while finishing second in 1982 and third in 1985. . . USC opened the season with a 14-match winning streak. In fact, the Trojans won their first 38 games before dropping a game in a 3-1 victory over UCLA (Oct. 6). . . USC is hitting .341 in four postseason matches, including an impressive .425 in its Pacific Region championship victory over Penn State. . . Katie Olsovsky and Jennifer Pahl were named All-Pacific Region, while teammate April Ross was named the Pacific Region Most Outstanding Player. Ross hit .358 to collect 32 kills (5.33 kpg) and added 20 digs in two regional matches. . . The Trojans stretched their perfect home-court record to 18-0 this season. . . USC clinched a share of the Pac-10 title for the first time in program history. The Trojans posted their first 25-win season since 1985 when USC finished 26-9 with a trip to the NCAA Final Four. . . USC is hitting .314 for the season, led by All-Pac-10 junior Jennifer Pahl (.409) and freshman Katie Olsovsky (.371). Pahl ranks second in the league in hitting and second in blocks (1.27 bpg), while Olsovsky ranks third in hitting. . . April Ross became the third USC freshman in the last six years to be named the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, joining current teammate Antoinette Polk (1997) and former Trojan Jasmina Marinkovic (1995). Polk became the sixth player in USC history to tally 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career.

ARIZONA - The Wildcats posted their most productive season in school history with 28 wins, a .848 winning percentage and the schools first-ever regional final appearance... Junior setter Dana Burkholder, senior middle blocker Marisa DaLee and junior outside hitter Jill Talbot were selected to the Central Regional All-Tournament team... Dalee concluded her Arizona career as the most prolific hitter in school history. She hit .437 this season to set a Pac-10 single-season record, while her career percentage of .397 is also a Pac-10 record... The Wildcats captured a share of the Pac-10 title with USC. It's the first Pac-10 volleyball title won by a team other than UCLA or Stanford... Burkholder, DaLee and senior Allison Napier were selected All-Pac-10 - the first time Arizona has placed three players on the All-Conference team. Burkholder became the first Wildcat to be named Pac-10 Player of the Year... The Wildcats have posted five consecutive 20-win seasons under ninth year coach David Rubio - the Pac-10 Co-Coach of the Year.

ARIZONA STATE - The Sun Devils made their 13th NCAA Tournament appearance. With their first round win over Duke, the Sun Devils won a postseason match for the first time since 1995... All-Pac-10 Senior outside hitter Amanda Burbridge recorded double-digit kills in each of her 28 matches played this season, with 20 or more kills in 17 of those matches. Burbridge set an ASU single-season record with 599 kills this season, while her 1,597 career kills rank third in school history and 20th on the Pac-10's all-time list... Freshman setter Cheryl Anglin's set an ASU single season record with 1,452 assists... The Sun Devils led the league in digs (18.89 dpg).

CALIFORNIA - Senior outside hitter Alicia Perry led Cal with a team-high 448 kills and 393 digs. Perry led Cal in both kills and digs in 16 of the Bears' 28 matches. She finished her career third on the Cal all-time career kill list with 1348, third with 3729 kill attempts and sixth with 1131 digs... The Bears closed out the season with a win for the second consecutive season and just the fourth time in school history that Cal finished the year on a winning note... The Golden Bears finished the year with three straight victories and a 13-15 overall record in coach Rich Feller's second season. Cal also finished 13-15 in 1999. The back-to-back 13-15 records are the best back-to-back seasons for the Bears since the 1988 and `89 campaigns (19-15 and 19-13).

OREGON - The Ducks' 10 wins this season are the most by an Oregon team since 1996 (11-20)... Senior Halie Mazza posted 99 total blocks this season, the most by a Duck in a single season since 1996. Mazza ranked 10th in the Pac-10 with 0.96 blocks per game... Junior outside hitter Monique Tobbagi finished the season ranked 7th in the Pac-10 with 3.79 kills per game. Tobbagi has 784 kills in three years with the Ducks.

OREGON STATE - With 16 wins this year, the Beavers doubled their win total from last season and was their most wins since 1996 (19-12)... With 548 kills this year, All-Pac-10 junior outside hitter Gina Schmidt became only the third Oregon State player with 500 kills in a season. With 981 career kills, her first kill of the 2001 season will place her in the top ten all-time at Oregon State. Schmidt's 397 digs this year are the sixth-best single season total in school history... Senior middle blocker Angie Shirley finished her stellar career with 1,098 kills (7th on the school charts) and 490 total blocks (3rd on the OSU career list)... Senior setter Brandi Bonnarens set a school record for assists in a season with 1,589 assists. Her 4,063 career assists rank second all-time at Oregon State.

STANFORD - Stanford is one of only four teams to have appeared in all 20 NCAA Championships, joining UC Santa Barbara, Penn State and Pacific... Sophomore Logan Tom posted a career-high 38 kills in Stanford's five-game loss to UC Santa Barbara in the NCAA second round. It's the second-best total in Stanford history... Senior setter Lindsay Kagawa posted the fourth-best single-season assist total in school history with 1,390 assists this season. She's fourth on the career list with 3,407 assists... Sophomore outside hitter Logan Tom has a team-leading 273 kills in 14 matches played - junior Tara Conrad (262) is second on the squad in kills in 29 matches played.

UCLA - The Bruins made their 19th NCAA Tournament appearance where they reach regional play for the second consecutive season, the 16th time in NCAA Tournament play... UCLA has posted its 28th 20-win season... All-Pac-10 junior outside hitter Kristee Porter established a Pac-10 single season record with 741 kills. Her career total of 1939 kills ranks second all-time in UCLA and Pac-10 history. She needs 177 kills next season to pass former Bruin Natalie Williams as the Pac-10's all-time kills leader... All-Pac-10 senior middle blocker Elisabeth Bachman has 622 total blocks during her UCLA career, placing her second on the schools all-time total block list and fifth on the Pac-10 charts... Junior Erika Selsor has recorded a school record 4,855 assists during her Bruin career, fourth all-time in Pac-10 history... Senior Michelle Quon finished her career with 1,022 digs. That places her ninth on the UCLA career digs list... Porter and Bachman were named to the Mideast Regional All-Tournament team.

WASHINGTON - The Huskies had several players move up and into the school's career leaders list... Junior setter Britni Churnside moved to sixth all-time in career assists with 1,890, sophomore Paige Benjamin (.284) and junior Lisa Underhill (.281) rank third and fourth in career hitting percentage and Underhill is seventh in career block assists (265) and eighth in total blocks (300).

WASHINGTON STATE - The Cougars made their seventh NCAA Tournament appearance. All-Pac-10 sophomore outside hitter LaToya Harris had 44 service aces on the season, ranking tied for sixth on the WSU single-season list. Harris posted 430 kills this season, 748 kills for her two seasons in Pullman. Her 4.13 kills per game ranked fifth in Pac-10 this season... Junior setter Kali Surplus finished sixth on the WSU single-season assist list with 1,357 assists this year... The Cougars have won nine of their last 13 matches. The four losses coming to NCAA participants Arizona, Arizona State, USC and Penn State.
