Oregon State Downed By Wyoming, 65-53

CASPER, Wyo. - Josh Davis scored 17 points, including seven straightduring a key second-half run to lead Wyoming over Oregon State 65-53 Saturdaynight.
Marcus Bailey and Uche Nsonwu-Amadi each had 15 for Wyoming (6-1).
Brett McFall sank two free throws with 4:18 remaining to snap a tie andDavis scored on a reverse layup moments later to put Wyoming up 54-51.
The Beavers never threatened again.
Over the final four minutes, Oregon State scored once on its last eightpossessions. On the other hand, Wyoming scored on eight of its last nine trips.
The Cowboys, who outrebounded the Beavers 48-25, sank 9-of-11 from the foulstripe to seal the win.
Heide scored six points during a 9-2 Oregon State run that erased a 37-35deficit and gave the Beavers their largest lead, 46-39, with 8:46 left.
Davis then rallied Wyoming with a 3-pointer, a tip-in and a layup in a spanof 1:14 to knot the score at 46.
Nsonwu-Amadi grabbed an offensive rebound and laid the ball in to give theCowboys a 48-46 lead at the 6:14 mark, then blocked a shot by Heide that led toBailey's 15-footer to put the Cowboys up by four.
A powerful drive by Heide and two free throws by Tanner tied it at 50 with4:30 left.
Bailey scored 11 of his points in the first half to help Wyoming to a 26-24edge at intermission.
His baseline drive and layup snapped a 10-10 tie with 12:13 remaining in thefirst half but the Cowboys could not stretch their advantage beyond fivepoints, at 24-19 and 26-21.
Brian Jackson and Tanner sank 3-pointers to put Oregon State up 6-2 earlybut the Beavers didn't go ahead again until early in the second half.
