Gosnell Places Eighth At Georgia Diving Invitational

LOS ANGELES -- UCLA sophomore diver Regan Gosnell finished eighth with a score of 226.60 points on the one-meter springboard final in the second day of competition at the Georgia Invitational. Gosnell, who scored 247.20 in the prelims, was the only Bruin to reach the final round. Miami's Katie Beth Bryant won her second title of the invitational, as she claimed the one-meter title with a score of 318.65.

Other Bruins who finished among the top twenty included: Heidi Prosser (10th/239.45), Kasey Reinhard (14th/231.30), Michelle Brown (16th/223.95), Jennifer McNally (19th/217.65) and Liz Ackerman (20th/209.45).

Competition concludes at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning with the women's platform event.
