Fusaro sweeps Bruin Diving Invite

LOS ANGELES - USC freshman diver Ray Vincent won both the 3-meter springboard and the platform competitions on the men's side and freshman teammate Nicci Fusaro won the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform on the women's side at the Bruin Diving Invitational at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center in Pasadena on Friday and Saturday (Jan. 19-20).
Fusaro won the 1-meter with 252.60 points, edging UCLA's Heidi Prosser (248.80) in her closest competition. She won the 3-meter with 523.05 and took the platform with 439.90, both by wide margins. Junior All-American teammate Kellie Brennan was third in the 3-meter (464.80) in the only event in which she competed.
Vincent won the 3-meter with 488.50, just ahead of Hawaii's Michael Gowdy (486.40). Vincent won the platform with 505.50. Junior teammate Adam Rokoff was fourth in the 1-meter (209.45) and eighth in the 3-meter (374.70).
Other finishers on the women's side included junior Lisa Moshy (11th in the 1-meter, 175.00, and 17th in the 3-meter, 178.20), freshman Katie Case (16th in the 3-meter, 183.15, and 17th in the 1-meter, 157.35), and freshman Erin McKeon (15th in the 3-meter, 184.35, and 19th in the 1-meter, 143.80).
