T.J. Cummings To Chat Live Online
Jan. 26, 2001
LOS ANGELES - On Monday, January 29, UCLA freshman basketball player T.J. Cummings will make a special visit to the ESPN Moderated Chat Room to talk about the Bruins' 2001 season and his experiences as a freshman in the highly competitive Pac-10 Conference.
Cummings burst onto the collegiate scene after a record-setting performance at the Coaches vs. Cancer IKON Classic in New York City back in November. In UCLA's first game of the season, Cummings came off the bench to score a game-high tying 24 points, with seven rebounds and two blocked shots in a 98-99 loss to No. 7 Kansas. It was the best performance ever by a Bruin freshman in his debut game. Since then, Cummings has established himself as one of the top freshmen in the country, averaging 11.1 points and 4.1 rebounds, ranking second on the team in field goal percentage (50.9).
The son of former NBA and DePaul great Terry Cummings, T. J. is the first Chicago-land player to sign with UCLA in over 20 years.
T.J. won't be stopping by until 12:00 p.m. PST on Monday, January 29, but feel free to leave your questions now and we will save them for his arrival.
