Cardinal Cruises Past Washington State, 84-67

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - With junior Enjoli Izidor enjoying a career nightwith 22 points, Stanford had little trouble turning back Washington State 84-67on Saturday in a Pac-10 contest.
Izidor reached double figures for just the third time this season and thefirst time since scoring 17 against San Francisco last Nov. 28.
Freshman Nicole Powell, who came within one assist of a triple-double, had11 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists. She reached double figures for the10th consecutive game, and the 13th overall.
Yvonne Volkman scored 19 points and Kelley Berglund had 16 to leadWashington State (3-5, 8-10), which dropped its 18th consecutive road game inthe Pac-10. The Cougars have never beaten Stanford in their history, covering31 games.
Stanford coach Tara VanDerveer, who became the charter member of the Pac-10200-win club against Washington, added No. 201 in just her 241st conferencegame.
Stanford scored the first nine points of the second half to complete a 19-2run and take a 51-31 advantage. The Cougars never got closer than 13 points therest of the way.
Washington State took an early 11-10 lead, but the Cardinal went on a 15-2run, sparked by eight points from Izidor, and never looked back.
The Cougars were within 32-29 with just over three minutes left in the firsthalf, but Stanford closed it out with a 10-2 run to take a 42-31 halftime lead.
