Cal-UCLA Game on Delay TV

Jan. 31, 2001

BERKELEY - Thursday's Cal-UCLA men's basketball game will be televised on a delay basis in northern California on Fox Sports Bay Area. Original schedules showed that the game would not be on local TV.

The contest will air first at 1 a.m. Thursday night/Friday morning and again at 1:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. Due to contractual obligations, Fox Sports Bay Area cannot show the game live.

However, fans in southern California can watch the Bears and the Bruins live at 7:30 p.m. Thursday on Fox Sports West 2.

No tickets remain for the Cal-UCLA game, giving the Bears their first sellout of the year. Approximately 1,000 tickets are available for Saturday's 5 p.m. tilt with USC.

To order tickets, call 800-GO BEARS (800-462-3277) or stop by the Cal Athletic Ticket Office at 2223 Fulton St. in Berkeley.
