No. 2 Men's Swimming Hosts Dual Meet With No. 8 USC

The No. 2 Stanford men's swimming team plays host to No. 8 USC in a dual meet this Friday, February 2 at 1 p.m. at the Avery Aquatic Center. The Cardinal enter the meet with a 6-0 overall record, 2-0 Pac-10 while the Trojans are 3-1, 1-1 in league action.

Stanford is coming off of a convincing 115-78 win over Pacific on Tuesday afternoon.

The Cardinal are led by senior NCAA Champion Adam Messner, along with All-Americans, Steven Brown, John Waters, Anthony Robinson and Randall Bal.

USC is led by junior Tamas Kerekjarto and sophomore Erik Vendt. Vendt was a silver medalist in the 400m IM at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Stanford will wrap up its dual season next week with a meet against cross-town rival California in Berkeley on Saturday, February 17 at 1 p.m.
