No. 20 Oregon Softball Splits On Final Day Of Southwest Texas State Tournament.

San Marcos, Texas - The No. 20 University of Oregon softball team finished 4-2 at the Southwest Texas State Tournament after a 3-2 win over the host team and a 6-2 loss to Baylor Sunday afternoon.

Junior Connie McMurren improved to 2-0 on the season with her victory over Southwest Texas State. McMurren gave up seven hits, two runs and had five strike outs in eight innings pitched. Sophomore transfer Lisa Wangler fell to 1-1 after the loss to Baylor.

Senior Triawn Custer got her second home run of the season in Oregon's win over the Bobcats and Alyssa Laux was the Ducks' top hitter against Baylor, going 2-for-4. Holly Ray scored both Oregon runs against Baylor.

Oregon travels to Tempe, Ariz. Feb. 9-11 to play in the Fiest Bowl Softball Tournament.
