ASU Baseball Adds Game Vs. St. Mary's Saturday At 5:30

TEMPE, Ariz. -- In an effort to make up the two rainouts during the first week of the 2001 season vs. Texas-Arlington, the No. 4 Arizona State Sun Devil baseball team have added a single game this Saturday vs. St. Mary's at 5:30 p.m. at Packard Stadium. ASU will play Creighton at 1 p.m. as part of the two-team doubleheader.

ASU is 8-1 entering this week's play, with five games on the slate, starting Tuesday with a 5 p.m. game with New Mexico State. The Sun Devils will play all three games of the scheduled Creighton series, starting Friday night at 7 p.m.

St. Mary's will be in Phoenix as part of the Rawlings Baseball Tournament held annually at Papago Park and Phoenix Municipal Stadium and have also had several games rained out early in the season. The Gaels are 3-3 entering this weekend's play.
