BERKELEY, Calif. - Alumni, families, students and friends of Cal will gather on campus this fall forHomecoming & Parents Weekend on September 28-30. As many as 4,000 people are expected to attend the annual event.
Class reunions will be held this year by The War Classes ('45, '46, wartime '47 and '47) and the classes of '48, '49, '51, '56,'61,'66,'71,'76,'81,'86 '91, and '96.
Many schools and colleges, alumni and student groups will also hold special events. Alumni from all years are welcome to attend the weekend.
In addition to reunion activities, other highlights of the weekend are lectures by some of Berkeley's most renowned faculty, open houses and tours, concerts and performances, a state-of-the-campus talk by Chancellor Berdahl, the Bear Affair (food and entertainment on the Campanile Plaza), a Cal spirit rally, and the Cal vs. Washington football game.
