Stanford Women's Golf In Sixth After Two Rounds At TRW Regional Challenge

The fifth-ranked Stanford women's golf team sits in sixth place overall after two rounds at the TRW Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif. The Cardinal fired a 309 today to bring their two-day total to 609, 27 strokes off the pace set by fellow Pac-10 school Arizona.

The Wildcats, led by Natalie Gulbis and Lorena Ochoa, grabbed the team lead today after firing a second-round 289. With a two-round score of 582 (+14), the Wildcats hold an 11-stroke lead over second-place New Mexico State. Gulbis and Ochoa are one-two in the individual standings, holding scores of 141 (-1) and 143, respectively.

The final round begins Wednesday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Pacific time.
