Women's Golfers 17th After Two Rounds in Palos Verdes

The UCLA women's golf team, plagued by stormy weather conditions through 36 holes, is in 17th place entering Wednesday's final round of the TRW Regional Challenge at the Palos Verdes Country Club.
The Bruins posted rounds of 319 and 316--their highest of the season-- for a total of 635, 18 shots ahead of 18th place Florida. The Bruins trail 16th place South Carolina by three shots and they are seven shots out of 15th. Arizona leads the tournament with a two round total of 582, followed by New Mexico State at 593 and Tulsa at 596.
Individually for UCLA, freshman Melissa Martin is tied for 47th at 156 (77-79), senior Leilani Bagby is tied for 64th with teammate Saki Uechi at 159, senior Laura Moffat is tied for 78th at 165 (83-82) and freshman Gina Umeck is tied for 84th at 167 (79-88).
Arizona's Natalie Gulbis and Lorena Ochoa are first and second at 141 and 143, respectively. Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh is third at 145.
