Huskies Loses In Overtime To Oregon, 64-60

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Lindsey Dion's short jumper with 48 seconds left inovertime helped lead Oregon to a 64-60 victory over No. 23 Washington onSaturday and snapped a five-game losing streak.
Jamie Craighead added 18 points for the Ducks (13-10, 6-7 Pac-10) and hittwo big shots in overtime.
The first was a 3-pointer that put Oregon ahead 60-57 with just under fourminutes remaining. With the Ducks leading 62-60 and the shot clock windingdown, Craighead hit a long jumper with 7.3 seconds left to provide the finalmargin.
Angelina Wolvert had 13 points and 17 rebounds for Oregon, which beat theHuskies for the 11th straight time, and Dion had 15 points.
Megan Franza scored 14 of her 18 points in the second half and overtime tolead Washington, (16-7, 9-4), which had won five straight.
But Franza missed 13 of her 22 shots, and she was stripped of the ball byElisa Edwards in the lane with just under 40 seconds left and the Huskiestrying to set up the potential tying shot.
The game was close the entire way, and Washington blew several scoringchances. The Huskies missed two layup attempts in overtime, and LeAnn Sheetsmissed two free throws that could have given Washington the lead with 36.9seconds left in regulation.
With the score tied at 55, Sheets' layup attempt rolled out, and with a 28percent free-throw average, her two shots weren't close. Washington got onemore chance, but Giuliana Mendiola's running jumper was blocked by Jenny Mowe.With time running out, Dion missed with an off-balance jumper, and the gamewent to overtime.
