SEATTLE, Wash. - Third-ranked UCLA (8-0) beat top-ranked Stanford University (7-1) 4-2 today to capture the USTA/ITA National Men's Team Tennis Indoor Championships at the University of Washington's Nordstrom Tennis Center.

UCLA's (8-0) title is its seventh at this event and it is the 18th straight California school to win the nation's premier collegiate indoor event. On the doubles side, the Cardinal's 10th-ranked duo of sophomores Scott Lipsky (Merrick, NY/Bellmore-Kennedy HS) and David Martin (Key Biscayne, FL/Boca Raton Prep) completed a perfect 4-0 weekend with a decisive 8-3 victory over Marcin Matkowski and Travis Rettenmaier at No. 2 doubles.
