Oregon Struggles in First Round of Wildcat Invitational

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Oregon women's golf team shot a disappointing 325 and stood last of 16 teams after Monday's first round of the Wildcat Invitational being held at the 6,119-yard, par-17 Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs.

Junior Kathy Cho was the low Oregon golfer, carding a 3-over par 75 to tie for 18th. Senior Jerilyn White came in with a 6-over 78 to tie for 44th.

Defending champion Arizona was the first-round leader after turning in a 293 composite.

The tournament continues with the second round scheduled for Tuesday.
