UCLA Tied For 10th In Arizona

The UCLA women's golf team was tied for 10th place after the first round of the Arizona Wildcat Invitational, hosted by the University of Arizona at The Raven in Sabino Springs, AZ.

The Bruins posted a team score of 311 and are five shots out of sixth place. Arizona leads the tournament after posting a team score of 293, followed by Duke at 294.

Individually, freshmen Melissa Martin and Gina Umeck were tied for 35th place after posting rounds of 77. Sophomore Vivan Phosomran was tied for 44th at 78, senior Leilani Bagby was tied for 53rd at 79 and senior Laura Moffat was tied for 58th at 80.

Second round action continues on Tuesday.
