Softball Game Suspended Due to Weather

Columbus, Georgia - The No. 16 Oregon State University softball team had their National Fastpitch Coaches Association Classic championships semifinal game with DePaul Sunday suspended after eight innings due to rain. The teams were locked in a scoreless when weather became a factor. Most of Sunday's games were cancelled.

The Beavers finished the tournament with a record of 3-1, which included victories over No. 8 Fresno State and No. 19 South Carolina.

The team returns to action March 2-4 at the Cal State-Northridge Tournament. The Beavers have doubleheaders at the tournament scheduled with the host Matadors, Colorado State, and South Florida.
