PAC-10 GYMNAST OF THE WEEK

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- Arizona State's LAURA MOON has been named Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week for March 5-12.

Moon, a junior transfer came off two MVP seasons at Maryland and immediately became a team leader in Tempe. Against Auburn, Moon scored her second career 10.0 on the uneven bars. Her performance becomes the 15th 10.0 in ASU history. Her 'double' 10s this season makes Moon one of only two Sun Devils to hit two perfect 10s in one season. On the beam, Moon hit another great routine and was rewarded with a career-high 9.925 for her efforts. Her All-Around score of 39.600 surpassed ASU's previous school record that dated back to 1997.
