Jorgensen Seeded Fourth

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Eric Jorgensen ranks highest among Oregon State's three seeded wrestlers at the NCAA Championships, which get underway Thursday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Jorgensen, a senior who won the Pacific-10 championship, is seeded fourth at 157 pounds, there are 12 seeded wrestlers in each weight class.

Also seeded from OSU are junior Nathan Coy, eighth at 174 pounds after winning the Pac-10 title, and junior heavyweight Jason Cooley, seeded 11th at heavyweight. Other Beavers in the NCAA Championships are junior 125-pounder Nathan Navarro, senior 133-pounder Ben Richards, sophomore 141-pounder Shane Cunanan and freshman 165-pounder Jed Pennell.

Thursday's two sessions include preliminary rounds, and the meet continues through Saturday. The top eight finishers in each weight class earn All-America honors.
