Ingram Named Pacific-10 Player Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Oregon State junior catcher Bryan Ingram (Everett, Wash./Cascade HS) was named the Pacific-10 Baseball Player of the Week, conference commissioner Tom Hansen announced Tuesday.Ingram batted .636 (7-for-11) as Oregon State took 2 of 3 games from then-No. 3 Arizona State in Corvallis. Ingram also drove in three runs and threw out five Sun Devils attempting to steal.It was the first Player of the Week honor of Ingram's career. It was also the second time in three weeks the Player of the Week selection had gone to a Beaver, sophomore first baseman Andy Jarvis had been honored for the week of March 5-11.
