Three Husky Softball Games To Be Broadcast By FOX Sports

SEATTLE - The 15th-ranked Washington softball team, a five-time College World Series participant, will have three home games televised by FOX Sports in 2001.

FOX Sports Northwest will air a pair of games on a tape-delay basis, beginning this Sunday, April 8, against Arizona State. The game with the Sun Devils, which is slated for a 1 p.m., start, will be broadcast on Monday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. The second game will be the Huskies' April 27, meeting with Stanford and will be shown the same day at 7:30 p.m.

Washington's May 5, game with Pac-10 foe Oregon has been scheduled to air live on FOX Sports Net at 2 p.m. (PT). The Huskies' game with the Ducks is one of three Pac-10 games set for FOX Sports Net with the other two being the April 7, game between Arizona and UCLA and the April 14, game with Stanford and California.
