Swedor Named Second Team Academic All-Pac-10 For Women's Basketball

BERKELEY - California senior center Genevieve Swedor was selected second team Academic All-Pac-10 for the 2000-01 season. Senior forward Lauren Ashbaugh and senior guard Courtney Johnson were honorable mention picks.

Swedor, who was named Cal's Most Improved Player at last night's team banquet, boasts a 3.54 GPA in sociology. Johnson is majoring in sociology, as well, while Ashbaugh is an integrative biology major.
