Ducks Close Out Regular Season At #16 Washington

Oregon will face the Washington Huksies in their final regular season match. The match will be played on Friday at Bill Quillian Stadium in Seattle, Washington. The No.16-ranked Huskies suffered two tough losses last weekend, to No. 18-ranked USC and No. 1-ranked UCLA.
LAST WEEK'S ACTION
The Ducks faced a tough challenge last weekend, battling the USC Trojans and the top-ranked UCLA Bruins on their home turf. On Friday, the Ducks' only point came with a win by sophomore Jason Menke, as Oregon fell, 6-1. UCLA was able to shut the Ducks out on Saturday, earning the 7-0 victory in Los Angeles.
RANKING THE COMPETITION
This weekend the Ducks will face their fifth-straight ranked opponent, their twelveth of the season. Eight of those opponents are ranked in the top-25.

Oregon and Washington haved faced each other 107 seven times, with Washington leading the series 100-5-1. Oregon's last victory over the Huskies was on April 10, 1976, with the Ducks winning 5-4.
THE LAST TIME
The Ducks and the Huskies have met once already this season on February 25, 2001. Oregon took the doubles point and battled to three sets in three matches but fell to Washington, 6-1 at the Student Tennis Center in Eugene.
