Men's Tennis Postponed Due to Rain

April 20, 2001

BERKELEY, Calif - The No. 21-ranked Cal men's tennis team will not play their match with No. 1 UCLA today, due to poor weather conditions. The match, originally scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at the Hellman Tennis Courts, will be tentatively rescheduled for Sunday, April 22, at 11 a.m.

The rescheduled match with UCLA on Sunday will only be played if the Bears match with No. 18-ranked USC is played tomorrow at its regularly scheduled time of 12 noon at the Hellman Tennis Courts. If the match with USC is rained out, then USC will have the opportunity to play Cal on Sunday, thus the UCLA match will be cancelled.

The Bears take on USC at 12 noon, Saturday, April 21, at the Hellman Tennis Courts.
