Baseball Game Suspended In Manhattan, KS

MANHATTAN, KS - The baseball game between UCLA and Kansas State was suspended in the ninth inningdue to darkness. The game which started at 4:00 p.m., was stopped at approximately 7:30 p.m. when theumpires decided that it was too dark to play. The Kansas State field does not have lights.

When the game stopped, the Bruins had a 12-9 lead. There were two runners on and two outs, with catcherJosh Arhart up to bat. Arhart was 3-for-3 with five RBI on the day.

The game will conclude on Sunday, starting at 12:00 p.m. Game three of the series will startapproximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of today's game.
