Softball At Arizona State Rained Out

TEMPE, Ariz. - Saturday night's softball game with No. 3 Stanford and No. 8 Arizona State was postponed due to rain. The Pacific-10 Conference game will be made up on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in a doubleheader with the game that was originally scheduled for a 1:00 start.

The Cardinal dropped a 7-0 game to No. 2 Arizona on Friday night while the Sun Devils fell to No. 4 Cal 4-2. Stanford brings a 40-6-1 overall record into Sunday's twin bill and a 7-3 conference mark. ASU is 30-12 overall and 5-4 in Pac-10 play.

In the circle for the Cardinal in the opener will be Maureen LeCocq (12-5), while Kristen Swetel (4-1) is throwing for the Devils.
