Fusaro, Brennan Earn U.S. Diving National Team spots

USC women's divers Kellie Brennan and Nicci Fusaro both qualified for the 2001 U.S. National team with their performances at the just completed 2001 U.S. National Indoor Diving Championships at the Mabee Memorial Aquatic Center in Midland, Texas.

Fusaro, a freshman, earned her spot with a third place finish in the platform and a fifth on the 3-meter springboard. Brennan, a junior, earned her spot with a third in the 3-meter.

Men's freshman Ray Vincent also competed at the meet, his best finish a seventh in the platform.

Fusaro and Brennan earned the rights to compete for the U.S. at the World University Games in August in Beijing, China. Both are also alternates for the World Championships in Japan in July.
