Oregon Remains in Ninth After Day Two of Pac-10 Championships

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The University of Oregon men's golf team, depite shooting its lowest round of the tournament, was unable to improve upon its ninth place finish following the seond day of play at the Pac-10 Championships, being played at the 6,876-yard, Par-71 Stanford Golf Course. The Ducks shot a combined six-over 361, and are 24-over for the tournament. USC remains in first place with a 14-under 1051, followed by Arizona, which is just two shots back at 1053.
Junior Brandon Harnden shot a one-under 71, matching his low round as a Duck, and moved into a tie for 44th, while sophomore Chris Carnahan matched his low round of the tournament, shooting an even-par 71. Carnahan is tied for 34th. Junior Aaron Byers is in a seven-way tie for 16th after shooting a one-over 72, and is at even-par after three rounds. Arizona's Ricky Barnes is in first place heading into the final day of play with a13-under 200.
The Ducks will wrap up play Sunday when the Pac-10 Championships conclude.
