Cal Faces San Jose Earthquakes In Exhbition in Berkeley Tuesday

BERKELEY - The California men's soccer team faces the San Jose Earthquakes in an exhibtion Tuesday, May 1, at 2 p.m. , at Golden Bear Soccer Field on campus.

Fans are invited to check out the action for free at the field which is part of the Golden Bear Recreational Center at the top of Dwight Way.

'It's a great opportunity for our players to play against professionals who are at the highest caliber of their game,' said Cal head coach Kevin Grimes. 'The 90 minutes playing against the Earthquakes will make our players grow tremendously and show them the level they need to be at in order to be professionals if that's indeed their dreams. We look forward to a long-lasting relationship between Cal and the Earthquakes.'
