May 4, 2001

CORVALLIS, Ore. - - With the start of the NCAA West Regional women's golf tournament fast approaching, volunteers are still needed for the event running from Thursday, May 10 through Saturday, May 12 at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis. Volunteers are needed for the men's regional May 17-19, which is hosted by Trysting Tree as well.

Volunteers are primarily needed for spotting balls during play, and would work in approximately five-hour shifts. Tee times run from 7:30 a.m. to 9:10 each day, with a second flight of teams teeing off from 11:50 to 1:20. Volunteers are needed most on Thursday and Friday for both tournaments.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact Brian Watts in the Oregon State golf office at 737-3900.
