Men's Golf 18th On Day One Of NCAA West Regional

USC's No. 6 men's golf team was tied for 18th out of 27 schools after the first of three days at the NCAA West Regional Golf Championship at the Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Ore., on Thursday (May 17).

Overall, the Trojans shot a combined 298 (10 over par). Arizona State leads the competition at minus 5.

Kevin Stadler was USC's top individual finisher, shooting a par 72. Nick Jones shot a 73 (tied for 36th) while Hunter Mahan shot a 74 (tied for 50th). David Oh shot a 79 and Alex Kuyumjian shot an 80.
