Postseason Accolades Continue to Mount For Shelley Duncan

TUCSON, Ariz.- The postseason recognition of junior Shelley Duncan continued Wednesday afternoon, when USA Today's Baseball Weekly named the slugger a first-team All-American. The honor is the second first-team recognition of the postseason for Duncan having garnered All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball Newspaper last week.
Duncan, Arizona's home run leader in nearly ever category, hit 24 home runs in 56 games while driving in 78 runs in 2001. He led the Pac-10 in homers, RBI and slugging percentage (.702). He did not commit a single error in 112 chances in the right field, while leading the Arizona outfielders with seven assists.
