UCLA's Rojer, Grinda Earn All-American Accolades

Grinda was named an ITA All-American in doubles with partner Rojer after the pair finished the season ranked No. 7 in the final ITA doubles rankings. A prize recruit from Nice, France and one of the country's top junior players, Grinda received All-American recognition during his freshman and sophomore campaigns. Overall, the tandem reached the round of 32 in NCAA doubles championships and finished the season with a 23-10 mark.
Rojer, a native of Curacao, Netherlands-Antilles, reached the round of 16 in the NCAA singles Championships before falling to eventual NCAA champion Matais Boeker of Georgia. A first time honoree, Rojer finished the season 27-19 in singles action.
Despite the heartbreaking loss in the quarterfinals of this year's NCAA Team Championships, the Bruins finished third in the final ITA team rankings also released today. Overall the Bruins finished second in the Pac-10 and compiled a 23-3 overall record.
